Born as the son of a gaucho somewhere on the planes of the Argentinian pampas,
he learned to ride before he could walk they say.
The Project
L'Ecurie de Marcelo is an art project from Belgian based artist Stef.
Every bloodline is created out of the artists' fantasy with full freedom in design and name giving, always based on history or future and as a reflection of our surrounding society.
Our Pedigrees
Our main mares and stallions come from different backgrounds, from different continents, each one of them fed and led by a different stroke of color which make them come to life.
Each one of them is a mother or father to their specific pedigree for many years to come.
the Evohippus
The Evohippus, my personal breed, is a mutation of the domesticatie horse we all know today. The mutation has happened as a result of the purest form of creativity through fantasy.
Where the Eohippus, the first like small horse creature that roamed our planet 50 million years ago, my Evohippos stands on the other side of evolution, playing a different new role in society.
It is my artistic quest to take my Evohippos around the world and to watch how my horse will evolve and mutate in beauty and grace.
